The expedition
Eighteen focused days to the geographic South Pole, the classic objective, run lean.
The South Pole, direct and without padding. Eighteen days across the plateau in a small, screened team, with the single clear objective that has pulled people south for more than a century.
It is shorter than the great traverses, but make no mistake about the place. The altitude, the cold, and the distance are real. This is the cleanest introduction there is to the deep Antarctic.
